Welcome Back! Are You Ready for a Great 2026?

Happy New Year!

I hope every one of you had a great holiday season.

Thank you for being a part of our region and working to make Seminole County, and all of Central Florida, a great place to work, to live, to play, and to learn.

Of course, January is filled with optimism with a renewed focus on growth - whether it is personal or professional.

Hopefully, you are still on track for your New Year's resolutions, but I thought you might want to add a few more.

So, here are five Chamber resolutions for your business in 2026.

Resolution No. 1: On February 2, plan on attending the opening of the West Seminole Council. This is the first new area council we've started in more than five years, and it is a unique opportunity to be a part of something from the very beginning.

Resolution No. 2: Take another member to lunch or for coffee at one of our great member restaurants once a month. Business is all about relationships, and if you aren't getting to know potential customers through in-depth conversations, you are missing out. Plus, it is a great opportunity to help others understand your business for referrals.

Resolution No. 3: Send a "Welcome to the Chamber" email to three new members a month. We showcase the new members at Good Morning Seminole and Chamber U. Pick three and look them up on our directory, where you can send a message to their primary representative. It's a great way to take the first step toward a long-term relationship.

Resolution No. 4: Check out "Your Savings" on our website for great discounts for your home and business. These deals change often and feature discounts on all types of goods and services from our chamber members.

Resolution No. 5: Catch up on season one and tune into the second season of ChamberWORKS, presented by Seminole County Economic Development. We find them very entertaining, but from your perspective, it is a great insight into other members that you can utilize in building that relationship.

Finally, I'd like to hear from you. What is one thing our chamber, our staff, our board, or our ambassadors can do for you to help you succeed in 2026? It's one question, and it's anonymous, so please take a couple of minutes to answer by clicking here.

I look forward to seeing you this year at one of our events.

When you come, please do one thing for me. Bring a friend who is not yet a member to at least one chamber event.

The more members we have at the Seminole County Chamber, the more opportunities for you.

Sincerely,
Rebekah Arthur
