While the lead attorney sets the legal strategy for your case, my colleagues and I serve as the engine that keeps your matter moving forward, ensuring that every detail is handled with the highest
level of care.

In my role, I am trained to handle your most sensitive information with the utmost discretion. Confidentiality is the cornerstone of my work, and I follow strict ethical guidelines to protect your privacy at all times. Whether it involves your personal history, financial records, or legal details, I ensure that your data is shared only with those who absolutely need to know. This commitment to privacy is something I take very seriously, as it helps build the trust necessary for us to advocate effectively on your behalf.

I also often serve as your primary point of contact for day-to-day updates and inquiries. I strive to provide clear, respectful communication, whether I am answering your questions, scheduling your appointments, or keeping you informed about the next steps in your case. My goal is to communicate promptly and accurately to help reduce the stress and confusion that often come with legal challenges. I want you to feel heard and supported throughout the entire process. 

Much of my work happens behind the scenes, where I focus on the intricate details of your case management. From preparing complex documents and organizing case files to managing strict court deadlines, I work meticulously to support your attorney. My focus on organization and reliability is designed to ensure that all filings are timely and that every piece of legal work is prepared with the precision required for a favorable outcome.

Finally, while I do not provide legal advice, I am deeply knowledgeable about legal procedures and am fully dedicated to supporting the firm in delivering effective representation. About 
As a Certified Paralegal with the Law Firm of Charles Vega, P.A. since 2023, I dedicated my career to being the operational engine that drives successful legal outcomes for our clients. Having earned my Certified Paralegal designation in January 1998 , I bring decades of experience to every case, including a significant tenure from 1998 to 2012 where I managed all aspects of a law office, drafted complex legal documents, and performed critical legal research. My professional foundation is rooted in a 21-year career of honorable service in the United States Navy, where I served as a Chief Petty Officer in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps

(JAG) until my retirement in 2011. During my time in the JAG Corps, I provided essential administrative support to Active Duty and Reserve Commanders and oversaw sensitive legal proceedings, eventually receiving the 2010 Master Chief Delbert Black Award for my leadership.

My approach to legal support is rooted in a high-level academic background, including an M.S. in Leadership from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a B.S. in Legal Administration from City University. Beyond my technical skills, I am deeply committed to the ethical pillars of our profession; I served as the President of the Volusia Association of Legal Assistants from 2000 to 2001 and have been a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants since 1998.
