Goodwill expands: Organization will open 2 new Donation Xpress centers in June
ORLANDO, Fla. (May 22, 2024) – Central Floridians looking to do good by donating clothing and household items that they no longer need or want will soon have two new options. Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is opening a Donation Xpress (DX) in Ormond Beach, located at 1425 W. Granada Blvd., and another DX in Orlando, located at 7250 Aloma Ave., on June 3. Combined, these spaces will add just over a half-dozen jobs to the local workforce and provide a more convenient way to drop off gently used

ORLANDO, Fla. (May 1, 2024) – Donating home goods and furniture in Central Florida just became easier thanks to a new partnership between Goodwill Industries of Central Florida (GICF) and Resupply. Resupply is a veteran-owned and operated company that provides pickup services for furniture, appliances and other home goods. Interested donors pay a small fee for Resupply haulers to come to their home, remove items they wish to donate and deliver them to a local Goodwill. Any items not selected by Goodwill

Goodwill Hosts Special Ceremony To Highlight Renovation Project

(April 9, 2024) – Orange County community and business leaders recently joined Goodwill Industries of Central Florida (GICF) to ceremoniously “demo” the start of a significant renovation project. On April 3, Dr. Michael Armbruster, Bill Tovine, Scott Wall, Max Brito and Commissioner Mayra Uribe picked up a “golden” sledgehammer alongside Goodwill President and CEO Ed Durkee to commemorate the beginning of construction at 7531 S.
