Altamonte Baseball Academy 10U All Stars Score Big & Head to World Series

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. August 2, 2023 — The City of Altamonte Springs’ Altamonte Baseball Academy 10U Babe Ruth All-Star team is honored to have received an invitation to the 2023 Cal Ripken 10U World Series in Crown Point, IN.
This is not our first brush with the big-time. Altamonte Springs once sent a team to the Little League World Series and has won numerous district, state and regional titles. In recent years, the Altamonte Baseball Academy has become one of the premier baseball programs in the United States, and its teams have finished first or second in regional and national tournaments more than two dozen times. This latest group of all-star players will leave Altamonte Springs to compete against the best teams in the country at the World Series which starts on August 5, 2023.
The Altamonte Springs 10U All-Stars are now 15-2 and have scored 188 runs while conceding just 16 runs, and their pitchers have combined to throw three perfect games and seven shutouts during that stretch.
Mayor Pat Bates said, “Altamonte Springs’ youth programs are at the core of our city’s services. We leave no kid behind, ensure that there are no barriers to entry into our programs, and as a result of our open arms to parents and kids alike, our programs are among the cream of the crop in the country. Our programs are as affordable as they are extraordinary. This group of young players will have memories that will last a lifetime!”
The ABA 10U All-Stars concluded the Babe Ruth 10-Year-Old Southeast Regional Baseball Championship Tournament on Saturday, July 22, 2023 as runner up. It is extraordinary for our team to receive a coveted invitation to the national tournament before the conclusion of the regional tournament, but we are honored to be considered one of the premier programs in the United States. We ask that our Central Florida family root for Altamonte Springs All-Stars as they travel to Indiana to compete for the World Series title! All are encouraged to follow our 10U players’ journey to the top. Visit to learn more.
