J.R. Kroll to Hold Hiring Event for New Customer Service Reps

Altamonte Springs, Fla. (May 10, 2023) – Need a job? The Seminole County Tax Collector is hiring!

On May 20, starting at 8 a.m., Seminole County Tax Collector J.R. Kroll will be holding a hiring event at the new Altamonte Springs location to fill multiple open positions throughout the county.

“To provide the absolute best customer service for Seminole County residents, it’s essential for us to be fully staffed at all of our locations,” Kroll says. “I’m always proud of the work of our front-line teams, but with multiple positions open, they can’t be as efficient as possible.”

The customer service representative positions include full benefits and paid vacation time. The starting pay is $16 per hour.

There will be three phases for the event:
1. A presentation to familiarize applicants with the Seminole County Tax Collector Office, the services the office provides and the responsibilities of the customer service representative.
2. A pre-employment skills test to evaluate an applicant’s computer skills.
3. An interview with the hiring managers if you pass the pre-employment skills test.

Attendees are encouraged to fill out an application found here, although paper resumes will be available at the event. In addition, a full “frequently asked questions” sheet is available here.
