Orlando-Area Kiddie Academy Owners Receive Prestigious National Award

ORLANDO, Fla. – Sept. 5, 2023 – Kiddie Academy Educational Child Care, a nationally recognized brand of comprehensive educational child care programs, inducted Orlando franchisee owners Hilda and Ted Cockram into the President’s Circle at its 2023 annual conference, which took place in Orlando in July. The President’s Circle is a prestigious award earned by individuals who have achieved recognition in several key award categories. The Cockrams own and operate the Kiddie Academy of Longwood-Lake Mary and the Kiddie Academy of Sanford-Heathrow in Orlando.

Criteria for membership in the President’s Circle includes past recognition as a Brand Champion, Franchisee of the Year, and service on either the Franchise Advisory Council or Brand Building Committee. Alternatively, recipients of the Founder’s Award are, simultaneously, inducted as members of the President’s Circle.

The Cockrams have been Kiddie Academy franchisees for 11 years, opening the Longwood location in 2012 and the Sanford location in 2019. Across the two Academies, they serve 300 families and students in the Orlando area. 

Both of the Cockrams’ Kiddie Academy locations will be hosting Storytime LIVE events to promote reading to children: Longwood-Lake Mary on Saturday, Sept. 9 and Sanford-Heathrow on Saturday, Sept. 23. These community events are free and open to the public.
