Three Incubator Companies Receive Significant Recognition Over the Past Few Weeks

One of the key ways for start-up businesses to gain recognition with customers and funders is being recognized during start-up pitch competitions and awards.
 
Over the past two weeks, three incubator companies were successful in being among the top companies in local and national competitions.
 
The companies and their accomplishments were:
 
Kismet Technologies was among the top 10 worldwide finishers at the Startup World Cup competition held in San Francisco. This competition featured thousands of startups worldwide which competed in local competitions around the world to participate in the main event in San Francisco. Kismet was the Orlando-area representative.
 
Kismet has created a safe, new material technology that will help decrease how often people get sick by keeping surfaces pathogen-free long after NanoRAD has been applied to the surface. Kismet Technologies is a client of the Life Sciences Incubator at Lake Nona and can be found here.
 
Rahm Sensor Development was the winner of the Healthcare Category of the Cade Prize for Inventivity. The national contest named after Dr. Robert Cade, lead inventor behind Gatorade — celebrates inventors and entrepreneurs, who, through an innovative invention, demonstrate a creative approach to addressing problems in their field of expertise.
 
Rahm Sensor Development leveraging its patented sensor fusion technology to develop advanced monitoring solutions for the human market. Rahm Sensor Development is a client of the Research Park Incubator and  can be found here.
 
Simplix was the second place company in the  2024 Launchpad Liftoff Pitch Competition from Orlando Black Tech. This award looks to which showcases the incredible innovation and talent from our community of underrepresented tech founders.
