The GFWC Lake Mary Woman’s Club has been supporting FindYourFabulosity.org, a 501 (c)(3), since 2022. The Club has collected over 300 tubes of new lipstick, provided volunteer support to assemble “Get Help” gift bags given to victims, and donated funds toward the expenses that Find Your Fabulosity incurs to ship 10,000 new lipsticks annually to Domestic Violence shelters here in Seminole County and to over 300 shelters in the U.S. Lake Mary Woman’s Club invites you to join us in collecting and
Lake Mary Women's Club Installs New Officers
The GFWC Lake Mary Woman’s Club installed new officers for the 2026-28 administration. Nancy Crawford, a 50-year member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, adjourned the meeting after recognizing the strong leadership of outgoing President, Ronnie Capalino. The 64-year-old club also presented $25,000 in donations to Kids House Seminole, Rescue Outreach Mission, Safe House, New Hope for Kids, Russell Home, Seminole State College, Take Stock in Children, Lake Mary Historical Museum,
Lake Mary Woman’s Club's Blue Pinwheels
The GFWC Lake Mary Woman’s Club was out in the community in April doing what they love to do… advocating and raising awareness in areas in need of support! Members were seen “planting” blue pinwheels around Lake Mary Historical Museum to bring awareness of Child Abuse Prevention Month. Members were cleaning and sprucing up their designated road to emphasize the beautification of our city. GFWC Lake Mary Woman’s Club at District 7 Arts & Crafts Meeting
The GFWC Lake Mary Woman’s Club had great representation at the recent District 7 Arts & Crafts meeting. Members’ entries won numerous ribbons, and CSP Arts Chairman Kay Jensen and member Gail Hill Smith donated two of their pieces to the District 7 Project, The Ashley House in Eustis. An all-female veteran transition home offering a temporary haven, providing job training, and counseling towards self-sufficiency in a safe and loving environment. The GFWC Lake Mary Woman’s Club is collaborating with another Seminole County Chamber member, Hollerbach’s German Restaurant, for an evening of “Meat Bingo” on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, 201 E. 1st Street, Sanford, FL 32771. We invite all our Chamber friends, families, and neighbors in Seminole County to join the fun starting at 6:00 pm. $5.00 for each bingo game, and the winner chooses a meat of their choice.
